Community Resources for Science leads a vibrant network, connecting educators with ever-changing resources available to enliven science learning opportunities. While we love to be together in person, sometimes virtual gatherings offer a chance to cover a lot of ground in one event. Such was our recent Saturday morning whirlwind armchair tour of more than a dozen amazing science centers, museums, and other partners so teachers could learn in one session about what’s new and available, from field trips to class programs and so much more.
“Thank you for your thoughtfulness for the science lesson resources from the virtual tour…What a treasure!” exclaimed one teacher after the event.
And, for those who missed or would like to revisit a favorite presenter, the Virtual Open House presentations are available online for viewing anytime:
The virtual event also showcased some of the resources CRS curates for teachers year round, including a detailed, up to date Local Partner Resource Guide and listings for grants and professional development workshops hosted by CRS and by our partners.
Thank you to the wonderful presentation partners who shared a Saturday morning sharing with teachers and principals. Together we are making science and engineering learning opportunities available for thousands of eager young learners!
