Orientations for UC Berkeley students are held on the UC Berkeley campus. We will contact you with the specific location. If you would like to arrange an on-site orientation for your company, lab, or student group, please contact the BASIS Program Manager.

Many of the schools we serve have "language immersion" classes. We occasionally receive requests for science support (such as translations or class presentations) in languages other than English. CRS often receives requests from schools and science event organizers who wish to connect students from specific demographic groups with scientists and engineers of similar backgrounds. CRS Photo Policy: To document our work supporting science education for the community and funding agencies, CRS/BASIS at times take photos and/or videos of our programs in action. We do not include volunteer or student names when publishing these images online or in print. By participating as a BASIS volunteer, you consent to CRS use of your photo or video image, unless you expressly opt out in writing.
