Bayer Science Ambassadors

Welcome, Bayer Employee Science Ambassadors!

You have an important role to play in increasing the quality and quantity of science and engineering teaching and learning in our local schools! We’ve assembled resources here to support you in whatever ways you’d like to become involved.

  • The first section below contains documents you can download and share (in print or electronic format) with teachers, parents, principals, PTA leaders, and others in your own community and/or where your own children attend school.
  • The second section contains a series of downloadable lesson plans, arranged by grade, and designed to be led by one presenter (you!) with the support of a second adult, such as the classroom teacher.
  • The third section contains fun “do at home” science activities you can share with your own children, extended family members, neighbors, etc. Simple, engaging activities — birthday parties? scouting groups? the possibilities are endless!

Thank you for participating in this important effort to provide today’s children more opportunities to learn, investigate, explore, solve, and discover!

BAYER Science Ambassadors Lessons to Share

Bring your passion for using science and engineering to understand the world we live in and address challenges we face.  Select from the following lessons, organized by grade.  These engaging, standards-aligned lessons are specially designed to be led by one presenter with the support of a classroom teacher.

Lesson plans include a description of easy-to-find materials needed, the main concept and key focus questions, and a detailed, step-by-step script for successful in-class presentations. Share science in your own children’s classrooms, and beyond.

For lessons with the notation “kit available”, there is a Bayer lesson kit assembled and available to check out.  To learn more, contact:
