PD: Greenhouse Earth
Greenhouse Earth: Atmospheric Gases, the Greenhouse Effect and Climate Change
Workshop Date: October 24, 2020
Grades 5-12
Presented By: Eric Havel
In this workshop, we focused on Earth’s atmosphere and its role in warming our planet. Through hands-on activities, we gained a deeper understanding of the greenhouse effect and how it works. We explored how human activities are changing the composition of the atmosphere and why this is causing temperatures to increase and Earth’s climate to change. We ended with an interactive discussion and exploration of what we can do to help solve the problem.
