Using Interactive Forums to
Investigate Climate Hazard Resilience
Workshop Date: May 1, 2021
Grades 6-12
Presented By: Haley Thiltgen and Eric Havel
This workshop is an introduction and overview of the “Climate Hazard Resilience Forum,” from Boston’s Museum of Science. We reviewed and discussed the program’s format and function, then discussed how it may be applied in a virtual setting. Teachers used the online forum to participate in 1-2 short activities, and to get familiar with the experience. There also was time for discussion and brainstorm on how teachers might use the program.
