October 2023 Challenge
Science inquiry begins with a phenomenon --
we observe something, wonder and want to learn more!
What phenomenon will you observe and explore with your students this month?
Use these questions to guide students in observation and reflection before learning more about the science phenomena around us.
Assign one or more of the October Challenge prompts (in whichever format you prefer) to your students
(slides, google docs, printed sheets, notebooks).

Submit 3-5 Representative Samples
(your slide deck, google docs, or photos of student work) from your class to the October Challenge Form
All submissions due by February 29, 2024
We May Publicly Share Images of Student Work, so please only share photos or student work that CRS may share out.
